A survey helps homeowners understand or discover the causes of a problem following an observation on their part or a visual inspection report. It’s also intended to support claims following the discovery of hidden defects after the purchase of a home.
Exhaustive operations can be carried out during a survey: exploratory cuts to trace the source of problems, definitive solutions to structural anomalies on a building: cracks, crazing, displacement, settlement on foundations, etc. The surveyor can also carry out or supervise tests on a building's air quality: asbestos (vermiculite), mould, infiltrometer tests, camera for drains, etc, on top of the thermographic devices our inspectors or surveyors use in regular visual inspection.
Inspections Galiléo Inc. can also lend its expertise to your renovation projects.
